Your Attendance Status
To inform the organizer of your attendance status; whether you have accepted or declined the invitation:
To Set the Status of an Invitation
- Select a Status from the options displayed.
The available options are: Accept, Tentative, and Decline.
Note - If you receive an invitation to an event with the link “Organizer has requested RSVP” you are required to inform the organizer your acceptance status. Click the link to compose a mail to the organizer to indicate your acceptance status.
- Optional. Enter your comments. For example, you may want to state the reason for declining the invitation to an event.
Event Details
The Event Details lists the Date, Time, Location, Organizer, Notes, Type, Privacy, Recurrence, Reminder details of the selected event.
Note - You cannot edit this information.
Attendees
The total number of people and the names of contacts who have accepted, declined, no response, or are tentative and the attendee comments are displayed.

Search for Events in the Calendar
You can search for a specific event in the current calendar.
To search for an event
To Search for Events in the Calendar
- Enter the search criteria in the text field and click search.
- The Event Search Result window displays the events matching the criteria.
You can edit or delete the events from the Event Search Result window.

- Click the Events List link to return to the Events page.
Tasks
You can edit or delete the events from the Event Search Result window.
For instructions on editing events, see Edit Events. For instructions on deleting events, see Delete Events.
Click the Tasks tab to view the Tasks list. Depending on the view from which the Tasks tab is selected, the task list displays the tasks scheduled for the day, week, or month. In the task list appears the name of the task, description, due date, and the task status details.

You can search for specific tasks in the Tasks page.
To Search for a Task
- Enter the search criteria in the text field and click search.
- The Tasks List Search Result window displays the tasks matching the criteria.
You can View a Task, Edit Tasks, Delete Tasks, or Change the Task Status from the Tasks List Search Result window.
- Click the Tasks List link to return to the Tasks page.
View a Task
To View Tasks
- Search for tasks to be displayed. Enter the search criteria and click Search.
- A list of Tasks matching the search criteria is displayed in a tabular
format.
- The tasks can be sorted on the descending or ascending order, by Due
Date, Status, Title, and Priority.
- By default, tasks are sorted by the Due Date.
- To change task sort order, click the triangular icon beside Priority, Due Date,
and Status.
Priority. Sorts the messages by the degree of importance. Tasks with highest priority are displayed first, followed by the less important tasks.
Due Date. Sorts tasks that are due for the day and displays them first. Clicking Due Date again sorts the tasks in the reverse order.
Status. Sorts tasks in the ascending order. Tasks that you have not started working are displayed first.
Title. Sorts the tasks alphabetically by the task name. Clicking Title again sorts the tasks in the reverse alphabetical order.
- Click on the Task title to view the task, recurrence, and reminder details
in the View Task window.
- Click Edit hyperlink to Edit the task details. See Edit Tasks, for more
information on editing tasks.
Note - For tasks you do not have the Modify, Delete, or Co-ownership permissions, the
tasks are displayed in the read only mode.
View Task
You can View a Task, Edit Tasks, Delete Tasks, or Change the Task Status from the Tasks List Search Result window.

The Task Details such as Due Date, Priority, Status, Owner, Notes, Location, Calendar name, Type, Privacy details, Recurrence pattern, and the Reminder messages are displayed in the view mode.
From this window you can:
Change the status of the task to completed.
Click Complete Task. The status of the task in the Tasks page is changed to “100% complete.”
Edit the task details. Click Edit to edit the task details in the Edit Task window. For more information on editing tasks, see Edit Tasks.
Click Delete, to remove the task from the Tasks list.
Note - When a recurring task is edited or deleted, a pop-up window with the following options is displayed:
This Task Only - Select this option to modify or delete the selected instance of the recurring task.
This and All Tasks - Select this option to modify or delete all instances of the recurring task.
Cancel - Select this option to abort the edit or delete process.
Click Close to exit the window.
